Chop the dark chocolate into small pieces and place it in a heatproof bowl.

Add the coconut oil to the bowl with the chocolate.

Melt the chocolate and coconut oil together using a double boiler or in the microwave at increments of 30 seconds, stirring in between, until smooth.

Let the mixture cool slightly before using it. It should be pourable but not too hot.

Drizzle the melted magic shell over your favorite ice cream and watch it harden immediately!
