Terms of Service

1. License

The software is licensed, not sold. This license is limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable.

• For personal, non-commercial use only.
• Sharing account credentials is prohibited and may result in account termination.

2. Subscriptions

Recipe Manager offers the following plans:

• Free:Limited features — 1 store for cart redirect, 1 store for Chrome extension, no auto-fill, no cross-comparison.
• Pro ($9.99/month): Unlimited Instacart redirect, 4 stores in Chrome extension, auto-fill cart, real-time prices, cross-comparison engine.
• Family ($14.99/month): Everything in Pro plus shared shopping lists and stores for household members.

Billing and cancellation:

• Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period (monthly or annual).
• Cancel at least 24 hours before renewal to avoid being charged.
• No refunds once payment is processed. Cancellation stops future renewals, but access continues until the end of the current period.
• Important: Uninstalling the app does NOT cancel your subscription. You must cancel through Apple/Google subscription settings or your account settings.

3. Free Trial

• A 14-day free trial is available for the Pro tier.
• A payment method is required to start, but you won’t be charged until the trial ends.
• Cancel before the trial ends to avoid being charged.

4. AI and Content

• AI features (recipe import from URL, photo, text) process data in the cloud solely for structuring purposes.
• AI providers do NOT use your personal content to retrain their models.
• We are not responsible for the accuracy of AI-generated content. Always verify recipes before use.

5. DMCA / Copyright

We respect intellectual property rights. To report copyright infringement, contact our DMCA agent at: support@recipe-manager.app. We will process takedown notices promptly.

6. Nutritional Disclaimer

• All nutritional values (calories, protein, macros) are estimates only.
• This app is NOT a substitute for professional dietary, medical, or clinical advice.
• Users with allergies or medical conditions must verify all ingredients and values independently before consumption.
• We are not liable for any health issues arising from reliance on nutritional estimates.

7. Family Plan / Third-Party Data

If you add a family member's email to share a plan, you are responsible for obtaining their consent. Their data will be processed according to our Privacy Policy.

8. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify the app, remove features, or change pricing at any time. Pricing changes will be communicated clearly before they take effect.

9. Limitation of Liability

• The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
• We are not liable for errors in price comparisons, nutritional data, or recipe imports.
• Maximum liability is limited to the amount you paid in the last 12 months.

10. Apple/Google as Third-Party Beneficiaries

Apple and Google are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them.

11. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by the laws of the United States.
